About Lori Beth Milburn
Artist. Storyteller. Communications Strategist.
I’m a communications strategist, storyteller, designer, and artist based in San Francisco. For more than two decades, I’ve helped mission-driven organizations communicate with clarity, warmth, and purpose through strategic messaging, editorial content, visual storytelling, design, and campaigns that connect people to ideas, causes, and communities.
My work sits at the intersection of communication and creativity. I bring a deep love of language, imagery, and thoughtful structure to everything I create, whether I’m shaping a fundraising campaign, designing an annual report, developing narrative content, or creating artwork that captures personality, presence, and feeling.
As an artist, I’m especially drawn to animals, nature, color, texture, and humor. Those same instincts also inform my communications work: I care about what makes people pause, feel something, and pay attention. Across both practices, I’m interested in work that is visually engaging, emotionally resonant, and rooted in genuine human connection.
